i know that when a transverse wave is set up in a string, then the points having maximum displacement are regions of minimum KE and minimum PE, and the points having minimum displacement are regions of maximum KE and maximum PE.
This is what i don't understand:
But if this is so, then it means that there are some other forms of energy too in the string.
What are these forms of energy?
