Flag General Physics> Calculating Centre of Mass...
question mark

I am having trouble solving this question:There is a thin uniform disk of radius R and mass per unit length s., in which a hole of radius R/2 has been cut such that its perimeter touches the right edge of the disk and also passes through the centre of the disk. Inside the hole a square plate of same mass per area s is inserted so that its corners touch the periphery of the hole. Find the Centre of mass of the system.

I forgot to mention it in the first post, answer is R(2 - (pi))/2(3(pi) + 2)
