I am currently doing H.C. Verma and D.C. Pandey for physics, but my sir is telling me to ditch those and go for disha and cengage instead. is this a good idea as many suggest HCV & DCP? Also mention why disha is better than HC. Verma (if so?) I will be writing JEE in 2015

Not at all.. I havent heard about disha.. but most of the students do HC verma.. it is one of the best books to understand the concepts.. subjective questions of hc verma are soo conceptual. . You should surely do hc verma.. and if your sir is saying to do disha too.. do that also side by side.. practice more n more..
Thanks
