whether differentation or integretion depends only on situation 
their are many situations which i cant provide u here 
so please kindly say which situation is ur problem right now 
 
some of very simple situations are 
 
when given v (velocity)
if u want XLR8n a=dv/dt so differentate
if u want s (displacement)  v=ds/dt so to get s u have to remove ds so integeate
u integrate if u want 2 sum up small things
