Any quantity under sine function should be dimensionless.
Therefore w[(x/v)-k] should be dimensionless.
Also, x/v and k should have same dimensions.      (because 2m + 5kg cant be calculated)
Dimension of w is T-1. Thus dimension of (x/v)-k should be T for the whole to be dimensionless.
Therefore x/v and k both should have dimension T.
Thus dimension of k is T
v has dimension LT-1. Solving we get, dimension of x= L.
Thus dimension of k is T and that of x is L.
