Given,
t = ax^2 + bx
retardation is accln but the opposite effect.
Hence,
a = dv/dt = d^2x/dt^2
hence,
1 = (2ax + b)dx/dt
dx/dt = 1/(2ax + b)
a = -2a/(2ax +b)^2
would be the final retardation.
minus indictaes the retardation.
