How does the Width of the deflection region of a pn junction vary, if the reverse bias applied to it decreases?

IF THE REVERSE BIAS APPLIED TO PN JUNCTION IS REDUCED THAN IT”S DEPLETION REGION WIDTH DECREASE...
                WIDTH IS proportional TO SEQURE ROOT OF APPLIED REVERSE BIAS VOLTAGE..
THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE ELECTRIC FIELD IN THE DEPLETION REGION DECREASES.
