IF THE REVERSE BIAS APPLIED TO PN JUNCTION IS REDUCED THAN IT”S DEPLETION REGION WIDTH DECREASE...
                WIDTH IS proportional TO SEQURE ROOT OF APPLIED REVERSE BIAS VOLTAGE..
THIS HAPPENS BECAUSE ELECTRIC FIELD IN THE DEPLETION REGION DECREASES.

In reverse biasing the potential drop across deplition region increases , thus the deplition region is widened and its field become stronger...
