how does the intensity of a scattered light depend on the wavelenght of the light? why does the sky appear dark due to an astraunaut in a spaceship flying at a high altitude?

ky appears black to an astronaut because there is no atmosphere in space and so there are no particles to disperse light from the sun. because there is no atmosphere to scatter light in the space. Because the sky is blue to us by the light being scattered through nitrogen.
