Objects have mass even in space. Because they have mass, they also have inertia. In other words, an object in space will resist any change in its state of motion due to its inertia. For example, imagine a stationary ball in space. Now it is in a state of rest. But if you want to make it move you have to apply some force. This force is necessary because the ball won’t start moving on its own because of its inertia.

So yes, objects that have mass  have inertia in space as well.

Hope it helps! All the Best!
