can we associate angular momentum to a body that moves in a straight line. if not why?

angular momentum is associated with momentum due to mass moving in a circular path/way.
that is angular momentum in circular path is given aas = mvr
m = mass of object
v = velocity
r = radius

In straight line motion we generally use linear momentum that is the product of mass with velocity.
