Calculate the work done when one mole of perfect gas is compressed adiabatically the initial pressure and volume of a gas are 10 ^ 5 Nm² and six litre respectively. The final volume is 2 litres molar specific heat of a gas at constant volume is 5R/2. In this question how to calculate ratio of specific heat y. Explain.

Dear student

Molar specific heat at constant volume is given i.e. Cv = 3R/2

but Cp – Cv = R

hence find Cv

now you can calculate the ratio
