The 12kg body goes downwards so the equation for it will be :
mg – 2T = ma
2T because the string directly attached to it is balanced by two strings and i’ve assumed that the tension on the string attached to 4kg is T therefore two such strings = 2T
For 4kg the equation is : T – mgsin30 = ma here m= 4kg.
Solve these two and you’ll get the answer and tell me if you need help :)
