1/v + 1/u = 1/f
1/12 - 1/20 = 1/f
5-3/60 =1/f
2/60 = 1/f 
1/30 = 1/f 
f= 30
This was done by mirror formula

Answer is 30.
By using mirror formula 1/f=1/u+1/v.
1/f= 5-3/60
1/f = 30.
So this is the short answer.
