Horizontal and Vertical components of the final velocity are=>
V’cos60 = V0 (after balancing)
or
V’= 2V0
In y direcn. the comonent is: => V'sin60 => V0root(3)
Applying newton's eqns. of motion in y – direcn. we get,
V0root(3) = 0 + gt
and
h = 0  + 0.5gt^^2
substituting the t value in the above eqn. we get,
h = 3V0^2/2g m.
