For answer to be 3/5 the relative density must be 5 not 0.5.
 
Let h be the fraction of hollow part and density is 5x 10^3 kg/m^3
W = (V  – hV )5*9.8
And weight diaplced from archi,eds principle => V*9.8*10^3
Equating both we get,
h = 3/5.
