Dear Student,
Weight of solid in air = 0.200 kgf
Density = 4.2
As we all know that
Relative Density = ( ( weight in air)/(Weight in air – weight in water))
4.2 = 0.200/ 0.200 –x
=> 0.84 – 4.2x = 0.200
=> 0.84 -0.200 = 4.2x
=> 0.640 = 4.2x
=> x = 0.640/4.2
=> x = 0.153
