Net force acting on ball upwards=V\rho_w g-Vdg=V(\rho_w-d)g

Hence acceleration of body upwardsa=\dfrac{V(\rho_w-d)g}{M}

Speed of body on reaching the surface=v=\sqrt{2ah}

Hence the maximum height to which the ball jumps under action of gravity=\dfrac{v^2}{2g}=\dfrac{2ah}{2g}=\dfrac{ah}{g} =\dfrac{V(\rho_w-d)h}{M}
=\dfrac{\dfrac{4}{3}\pi R^3.\rho_w-M}{M}h
