A periodic time of a simple pendulum is 1.2 second. The length of the pendulum is doubled, what will be its next periodic time?

Dear student
 
Time period( T ) = 2 *pi* sqrt (L/g)
 
Now if length is made twice.
Then new time period will become sqrt(2) times of original.
 
Hence
Periodic time =1.2* sqrt(2)
= 1.2 * 1.41
 =  1.692 sec
