Due to magnetic induction. And Lenz`s Law , direction current indices such that it opposes the cause of its induction. Now this induced current has its magnetic field which exerts a force in the magnet in upward direction .... But gravitation force is greater than this induced magnetic force...... so magnet falls down but with acceleration a = g-a(induced).Hence option C is correct.
