The relation between yard and feet is
1 yard = 3 ft
Now, 100 yards is equal to
100 yard = 100 (3 ft)
= 300 ft
The relation between feet and meter is
1 m = 3.28 ft
Now, 100 m is equal to
100 m = 100(3.28 ft)
= 328 ft
The relation between yard and meter is
1 yard = 0.914 m
Now, 100 yard is equal to
100 yard = 100 (0.914m)
= 91.4 m
Therefore, 100 m is longer than the 100 yard.
The difference between 100 yard and 100 m in meters is
100 m – 100 yard = 100 m -91.4 m
= 8.6 m
Therefore, 100 m is longer than the 100 yard by 8.6 m .
The difference between 100 yard and 100 m in ft is
100 m – 100 yard = 328 ft – 300 ft
= 28 ft
Thus, 100 m is longer than 100 yard by 28 ft.
(b) The relation between mile and meter is
1 m = 6.21 x 10-4 mi
Now, 1500 m is equal to

Rounding off to three significant figures, the value of 1500 m is 0.932.
