hookes law works in the limit of elastic limit , so, if elastic fatigue will be their , it will not obey the hookes law . Hence answer is dur to eleastic limit

Hooke`s law is vallid till to proportionality limit, when we apply strain on it several times then it will reach to it`s yield point, where a permanent deformation takes place.
