A body have momentum,what it physically signify about that body?.And what happens to the momentum in the wall when a ball strikes on the wall elastically???

Hy mithun.. First of all let us know the physical meaning of momentum.. Momentum is just the product of velocity n mass but it signifies the extent of impact which a moving object can put on other body.... When a ball collides with wall it`s momentum decreases and the wall does some work to change its speed.. This work is spent in form of heat and sound
