For 45degrees the range is maximum

Dear Vindhya,
u2sin2θ/g=Range-----eq.1
since maximum value of sinθ=1 and it is possible only when θ=90
here in eq.1,
for sin2θ to  be maximum, 2θ=90;
which implies θ=45 in this case.
Hence range is maximum when theta is 45degrees
