Dear karthik,

En=-(13.6eV) * (z^2 / (nfinal)^2 - (ninitial)^2)

En=-2.86
z=1
ninitial=2

then nfinal comes out to be 5

Dear student,

13.86/n^2=2.86

From here calculate the value of n.
