Gravitation is caused by the mutual attraction of 2 bodies when they attract each other.It is caused by the earth. Itvexists as a force.

Dear student,
Gravitation is caused by the mutual attraction of two or more bodies. The bodies attract each other.
The gravitational force exists between any two bodies but the amount of force is feeble though the gravitational force between two heavnly bodies is so huge that it can even change the trajectory of light!!
