Towards the center.

 

It is the Coriolis force which acts tangentially.

Dear friend,

                          Here the case of centripetal force,total moment of inertia or inertial component is lies along the path of circular moving body.As i shown in the figure teaches us a giantwheel moves circularly in a constant path with an angle of banking.Asual as the centripaetal force component will act at centre of the circle.That''s what the reason for a fastly moving vehicle to move in a curved path safely.
