image distance behind the convex mirror s'' =-11.5cm

focal lenght f = 13.5cm

we know that , 1/s+1/s'' = 1/f

                         1/s-1/11.5 = 1/13.5

                          1/s = 1/13.5+1/11.5

                           1/s = 0.1610

                            s = 6.21cm

this is wrong.. the mirror used is cocave mirror whose image distance is considered +ive.. so by using mirror formula.. 1/f=1/p+1/q, where f=focal length=13.5cm,p=object distance=11.5cm,q=image distance=?. By modifying we get.. 1/q=1/f-1/p..by putting values, we get.. 1/q=1/13.5-1/11.5..
now dividing .. we get
1/d=0.070-0.0869  => 1/d= -0.0129.
now. replacing d with -0.0129 and dividing it by 1, we get  q= -77.52cm
