various constants ,like Gravitational constant, has got dimensional formula. why is it that in an equation we always take constants as dimensionless for eg-in the equation K.E=1/2mv[2], while finding dimension of K.E, we take 1/2[k] as dimensionless?
all types of constants can be added but all types of units cant, infact any two different units cant be added.as a result the constant are considered dimensionless since then only they can be added altogether.
all units cannot be added
