why is pressure not a vector quantity despite the formula pressre equals FORCE DIVIDED BY AREA ,FORCE BING A VECTOR QUANTITY

vector quantity has a direction whereas the pressure applied is always in the direction of force hence it is not a vector...also we get a vecot by vector product of two vectors

Force and area both being vectors pressure is not vector
