When I see worked solutions tor gravity using the universal gravity constant, they seem to ignore the N-m2/kg2

What is going on?

Thanks, Foster Brown

In the solution, the units of other quantities cancel the unit of the Universal Gravitation Constant and thus N-m2/kg2 does not seem to be used in the solution.

Hope this works!!!!

The units of gravitational force is N(newton) so to determine it in the solution the value of universal gravity constant is used but not its unit as:

all the units in Nm2/kg2 except N cancels out giving u the force

it will be irritative to use these units each time as one must be concentrated in problem solving rather than just working these units
