Dear Chilukuri Kartik,

Remember that White light splits up into seven colours viz. Violet,Indigo,Blue,Gren,Yellow,Orange,Red(VIBGYOR) when passed through a prism !

These seven colours have wavelengths ranging from 4500A0 - 7000A0

Therefore white light does not have a specific wavelength but a range of Wavelengths ranging from 4500A0 - 7000A0   !

This region in the electromagneitic spectrum is known as the visible region !!

Hope this helped you !
