Let A and B be the vectors perpendicular to each other.

Magnitude of A = 10 kmph

Magnitude of B = 2 kmph

Angle=90

Therefore resultant velocity =  sqrt(A2+B2+2ABcos(theta))

cos 90o = 0

Puttin' the values we get : sqrt104 = 10.19 kmph (approx).

Ans : 10.198 kmph

Hope it helps. Good Luck!
