If there is a bottle kept on sufficiantly rough surface and is hit below its c.o.m now tell me if the bottle topples in the direction of application of force or in opp dir. Please reply after deep thinking

one must keep in mind that no matter how high the friction force, friction is a force of reaction and thus, its effect, be it force or torque can never exceed the force or torque that opposes friction. Therefore, bottle will topple in the direction of application of force.
