i think irodov book is quite complicated and the problems in it require a high use of calculus. but from last two three years iit paper is concept based. it is checked that how much a student uses his brain or hard work. there are few problems based on cclculus but these too require simple and not high. instead give more stress to HCV and you can solve CENGAGE PUBLISHERS BM SHARMA.
but if you want to solve iorodov then concepts should be very strong and can be done only with the help of good teacher.
