let angle of projection w.r.t. horizontal be A, y=xtanA - gx2/2u2cos2A =xtanθ, where theta is the angle of inclination of the plane, dividing both sides of the equation by 'x' and simplifying, we get range=(2u2cos2A/g)(tanA -tanθ)
