Question

An observer looks a tank at angle 45 degree through a telescope and the corner of the tank is visble.When the tank is filled with liquid an insect is observed by him at the centre of the tank.At t=0 when the cork is opend at the bottom of the tank the insect is visible for a certain period of time.so find the refractive index of the liquid.
