The net momentum of all three particles will be zero for all moments. But the sum of any two will be equal and opposite of the third. So we will just fund it for one particle and use negative sign on it.
Potential energy change will be-
(4Gm2/a) – (2Gm2/a) = p2/2m
this gives p
