First conserve the momentum,
m1u1 = m1v1 + m2v2..................(1)
 
then conserve energy,
0.5*m1*u1^2 = 0.5m2v1^2 + 0.5mv2^2 + 0.5kx^2.............(2)
put the values and solve the eqns.
