In an npn transistor when forward bias is applied is works as an amplifier. The electrons move to the base from the emitter so the holes move from the base to emitter.

Dear student
When forward bias is applied on n-p-n transistor, then it works as an amplifier in forward biased n-p-n transistor, electrons move from emitter to base and holes move from base to emitter.
Hope this helps
Good Luck
