.Lenz's lawstates that when an emf is generated by a change in magnetic flux according to Faraday'sLaw, the polarity of theinducedemf is such, that it produces an current that's magnetic field opposes the change which produces it
Bascailly according to lens law ,whenever a current flows through a coil an back EMF(voltage) is induced which will oppose the cause that produces it.

Since the current causes the emf,it will try to oppose it.(This is lens law).

In induction motor, the coil resistance is low due to this, the high current will burn the coil windings.

To avoid this, the back EMF act as an additional resistanc
