Dear Aniket

x^2 + 15 |x| + 14 = 0

on factorisation

(|x|+ 14) (|x| + 1) = 0

hence | x| = – 14 , – 1

which is not possible
hence no solution

The result is a negative number. The discriminant is negative, so the quadratic equation has no solution. A discriminant of zero means the equation has one solution, and it tells you nothing about direction that the graph of the parabola opens.
