How are electropositive elements extracted using electrolysis? They should have a negative reduction potential (Eg Li+, Na+, K+), which will favour reduction of H+ over reduction of these electropositive metals, but still the source of this question says that highly electropositive elements are extracted using this process. Please justify your answer.
