You can check pr vious year counselling cut-off. But chances are less that you get any NIT with good branch.
But nothing be said for sure.

yes, your reservation will always take care of you! dont study and you get a college! :) general is stupid to focus on studies!
you should drop a year and try your luck next time, maybe the reservation is increased!
