Given is convex lens.  (1/v) – (1/u) = (1/f) 
Here u = object distance = – (f/2) 
Hence (1/v) = (1/f) + (1/u) 
∴ (1/v) = (1/f) – (2/f)
  ∴ (1/v) = – (1/f) 
∴ v = – f 
∴ image is virtual, on the negative focal point, also image is double its size.
