Among the following substituted silanes, the one which will give rise to cross-linked silicone polymer on hydrolysis is trichloroalkylsilane RSiCl3. On hydrolysis, RSiCl3 will give RSi(OH)3 which will polymerize to cross-linked silicone polymer.
