Lateral tension in the chain will be due to the centripetal fotce due to rotation.Consider a small mass element at the periphery, that is of the small length segment of the arc and forms a small angle at the centre.There wiuld be two tension component, among which horizontal part will cancel each other, onlt the vertical segment of tenasion will be responsible for the centrepetal force.Proceed in this way, you will get the answer
