Amount of acid in the soln to begin with = 50 * 1 = 50 mmol

At the end = 0.5 * 50 = 25 mmol

 

Adsorbed = 25 mmol = 25*90/1000 = 2.25 g

 

Adsorbed / gm or charcoal = 2.25/.5 = 4.5
