A monkey which is at da foot of a 10 meter tree started climbing it. In one minute it climbs 3 meters and slips by 2 meters in da next minute.hw much time does it take to reach the top of da tree?

In 2 Minutes the money climbs 1 Meter in all therefore in 20 minutes it would get top the top of the tree which is at 10 meters !!!

The monkey effectively climbs 1 mt in 2 mins.
This would heppen till it reaches 7mts.
So it would take 14 mins for this.
In the next one min, it would climb 3 mts and reach the top.
So total time taken would be 15 mins.

its quite simple.consider the distance covered bu the monkey in 2 min.first it climbs 3m and then he climbs -2m(slips 2m).therefore in total he climbs 1m in 2min.therefore for 10m,it will take 20 min........ :-)
