UPSEE Counselling and Seat Allotment – Process

Online Registration:The candidates applying through JEE Main are required to follow this step. Registrations has to be made in online mode and 20% seats are reserved for JEE Mainquota in the various private institutions affiliated with Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU).

Document Verification (last week of june):This is the second step in the UPSEE Counselling and in this step the candidates are required to produce their original documents related to date of birth certificate, class X and XII certificate etc at document verification centers. Pay the counselling fee in this step as well. Get the OTP to log in and fill the choices of colleges and courses in the next step.

Choice Filling: In this step of counseling, the candidates are required to fill the choices of colleges and courses as per their priorities. The candidates must ensure they are cautious the candidates cannot later alter filling the choice filling.

Seat Allotment:The last and the final step in the UPSEE Counselling is related with the allotment of seat. The candidates will be made allotment of seats based on the availability of seats and the candidates performance in class XII and JEE Main exam also UPSEE Exam performance. Pay the UPSEE 2014 Admission Fee Rs 15000 must be paid by DD in favor of “Finance Officer, UPTU, Lucknow” payable at the city of document verification centre.

Upgradation will be available only for those streams whose seats are confirmed.

Candidates who do not get present for confirmation after the UPSEE Seat Allotment will forfeit their allotted seat.
