Dear Archana,

 Just follow law of conservation of charges, & distribute charges equally in both conductors, when they  r  close!!!!!!!!   U will get ur ans.

             Good Luck!!!!!!!!

Let the charges on A and B be q.

Now c is bought near to A, hence the charges would get evenly distributed, hence both, A and C will get charge q/2.

Now C is bought near B, hence both will get even charges. So, since A has q and C has q/2.. So, now they will get re-distributed and A will get 3q/4 and C will also get 3q/4.

Now new force of attraction be F'

Then,

F'=kq(3q)/2x4xr2 ..... (1)

But we know

F=kqq/r2 .....(2)

Hence, from (1) and (2)

F'=3F/8
